DIGITAL LOCKER

All finds it difficult and unsafe to carry vital documents (such as Aadhar card,voter id ,driving lisence,etc.) as a Hardcopy. 

Now you need not to carry them with yourself rather keep them as E copies in your phones.

This could be done buy using "DIGITAL LOCKER".

WHAT IS DIGITAL LOCKER ?

Digital locker (also known as digi locker) is an mobile app as well a website started by  Ministry of Electronics and IT .

You can store all your vital documents. It can linked with both Aadhar card and cell phone number. 

Organisations like the CBSE, the Registrar Office or the Income Tax Department can also push electronic copies of documents and certificates directly into your e-lockers.

You can also upload your own documents and e-sign them.

HOW TO USE DIGI-LOCKER ?

Step1. Go to DigiLocker website (https://digilocker.gov.in/) or download DigiLocker app on your smartphone. 

Step2. Using your Aadhaar number and mobile number you can create a user ID using an OTP.
