New Delhi (PTI). UIDAI has started its first 'Aadhar Seva Kendra' in Delhi and Vijaywada.
UIDAI plans to open 114 such centers by the end of this year. Registration, updation and other work will be done for the base at these base stations.

These centers are from UIDAI. Let us know that these Aadhaar service centers will be from UIDAI. However, in addition to the banks and post offices, such services are being provided in government premises.

The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) wants to set up a base service center in 53 cities of the country, on the lines of the passport service center, which will cost about 300-400 crores.

Sources said that these new centers of UIDAI have been started on a pilot basis.

He said that the base service center of UIDAI in Delhi is located in Akshardham Metro Station Complex. There can be up to 1,000 enrollments / updates per day. Here are 16 workstations. The best part is that there will be six working days in the week including Saturdays and Sundays. It will be closed only on Tuesdays and public holidays.

Vijaywada has half its capacity compared to Delhi.
An official said on condition of anonymity that these new centers would provide more touch points to the people for the service of registration and updation of the base. As the capacity of base service centers will be high, there will be more work on enrollment and updation basis, as compared to other centers here.

Apart from this, there will be an online appointment management system for Aadhar Service Centers, which will help people take time according to their convenience.
