It is difficult to update birthday for the second time in Aadhaar card?

If your birth date is incorrectly entered in your Aadhaar card then it will not be easy to fix it. The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) has recently issued a notification in this regard.

According to this, you will have to go to UIDAI's regional office to update more than one birth date in Aadhaar.

A new sub-regulation has been added in the Aadhaar (Enrollment and Updates) Regulations, 2016. According to the notification, the birth date registered in AADHAAR can only be updated once.

In the event of exception, Date of birth recorded in Aadhaar will be updated more than once. 

For this Aadhaar card holder will have to go to the regional office of UIDAI. If you registered wrong date of birth at the time of nomination of Aadhaar, then you can go to the nearest Enrollment Center to fix it.

But, for the second time if you need to correct the birthdays recorded in AADHAAR, you have to go to the regional office of UIDAI. This work will be done through 'Exception Handling Process'.

This step will prevent people from making frequent changes in details such as birthdate in Aadhaar. Such details often do not require change. Before this, any person could visit the nearest enrollment center to repair the date of birth. There was no such restriction on how many times you can fix it. Sources of UIDAI said that in the right cases, the date of birth of Aadhaar will be changed, but for this Aadhaar card holder will have to provide evidence with the documents.
